She Said, She Said a new play by Megan Medley

She Said, She Said is the story of a young woman whose NYC apartment is ravaged by a hurricane forcing her to move back home to Kentucky with her mother, where she finds out she is unexpectedly pregnant. There, she must confront her fraught relationship with her mother as she decides whether to become one herself – under the time pressure of a state where abortion will soon become illegal. The play grapples with the issues of freedom of choice, reproductive justice, and the sometimes inordinate expectations we have for mothers in a capitalist, patriarchal society.

We had a beautiful showcase production November 9th-13th at the Chain Theatre! Thank you to all who made the production possible and for coming out to our sold out shows!

We are continuing to raise funds for further development of the play and the next production!

.Donate on our Fractured Atlas General Support Page!

The project is sponsored by Fractured Atlas, so donations are also tax deductible.
